Should we watch the TV debate between Mr Trump and Mr Biden? The debates between the candidates running for President are symbols of transparency, of freedom of speech, of freedom of information, of fairness in the electoral competition. They are meant to give the citizens a better insight into the political and personal characteristics of the candidates, so that voters can form an opinion before casting their vote.
One immediate piece of information out of a debate, concern the respect of the rules of the debate. If one candidate is unable to follow the rules of the debate, how can we be sure that he will follow the rule of law?
